Anxiety And Stress Can Be Deadly

Anxiety and stress can be deadly if allowed to build up and consume us without a healthy release. Everyone encounters anxiety and stress at some level at every stage of life. It is usually during our teen years and as young adults that the levels of stress and anxiety can start to out weigh our ability to cope and relieve ourselves of the potentially unhealthy brain chemicals and negative emotions when under duress.

Over a long period of time some of these brain chemicals can hinder production of other necessary positive emotions and healing brain chemicals and act as a poison, causing many illnesses including heart disease, hypertension, depression, rapid aging and premature death.

As small children we encounter stress and anxiety when we are under pressure to learn a new skill, such as struggles to learn our language skills or learning to walk or ride a bike or swim. As adults looking back, it might not seem like it was the same as the stress we encounter now. However, anytime we are forced to leave our comfort zone to learn a new skill or face a difficult challenge in which are uncertain of the outcome or unfamiliar with our role in the activity, we experience stress and anxiety.

Our brainwave activity increases and vibrational patterns speed up and increase in frequency to enable us to focus our attention on the task or tasks at hand. At the same time our brain produces neurotransmitters that can turn certain parts of our brain on and off and cause certain chemicals , amino acids, hormones or endorphins to be produced in our brain. Endorphins are your brain’s painkiller, and they are three times more potent than morphine. Some of the brain chemicals include serotonin, norepinephrine, dopamine, acetylcholine, histamine and others that can have a direct influence on our mood, ability to focus, level of anxiety, and our ability to fight off infections and disease.

All of these natural brain chemicals are necessary for our physical, emotional and mental health, however, to much of one and not enough of another can cause dramatic negative effects. For example, if your serotonin level is low, depression can occur. When your brain produces serotonin, tension and anxiety are relieved. When your brain produces dopamine or norepinephrine, you are more alert and react more quickly, however, to much of one or the other of these can block production of other necessary brain chemicals, or like an amphetamine addiction, encourage anxiety, bad habitual behavior, health problems and eating and sleep disorders.

A certain amount of stress can be a good thing. As exercise is necessary for our muscles to grow and our bodies to become stronger, it is necessary as part of our personal growth, to occasionally step out of our comfort zone and challenge ourselves. As a result, a level of anxiety is to be expected.

However, just as to much exercise without enough rest and proper food tear our muscles, causing pain and fatigue, so can facing to many mental or emotional challenges, without similar relief and relaxation.

This is where the problem lies. In today’s fast paced society, with many financial, family and work related obligations, many of us don’t allow ourselves the time for proper diet, exercise and relaxation necessary for a full exercise-rest cycle of our brain. As a result we do not get the necessary positive emotion brain chemicals, endorphins, amino acids(proteins) and hormones that enable us to be creative, think clearly with positive emotions and make us more confident in our ability to face and overcome difficult challenges in our lives.

The younger we are when we allow ourselves to be overwhelmed with anxiety and stress without the proper exercise-rest cycle, the less likely we are to become financially independent and the greater the odds we will become dependent on drugs or alcohol to cope or suffer obesity, depression or other physical, emotional or mental problems. As this continues, the problems become magnified, increasing anxiety and stress even more. It is a vicious cycle.

Relief from stress can come in many forms. A healthy balance of diet, exercise, adequate sleep, social interaction, spiritual interaction and emotional reward is most desirable. However, with time, motivation and financial resources limited, for many people, this perfect balance is not immediately possible. Television or internet becomes our social interaction. There is no time for exercise. What spiritual interaction? Fast food and unhealthy snacks are our incomplete fuel and our only emotional reward is sex, drugs and music.

There is a better way that can start to relieve stress and anxiety almost immediately. It doesn’t consume a lot of time. It is enjoyable and with continued use, it can reverse the negative effects of a lifetime of excess stress and negative mental programming. It helps provide a more restful sleep cycle with less actual sleep time. It helps provide the positive emotional brain chemical balance that a healthy mind and body need. Besides eliminating anxiety it can expand intelligence, IQ, creativity, self confidence and mental and physical abilities. It can assist and motivate weight loss, help eliminate bad habits. It can generate a natural desire and subconscious demand for prosperous and healthy living. It can increase intuition and spiritual interaction if you desire. It can even alleviate pain and assist in healing. It is used to train athletes and military personnel and is even endorsed by the American Cancer Society as a supplemental treatment for cancer. (see /self-healing for more information on this.

What is this anxiety and stress relieving miracle drug? It is not a drug and it is without negative side effects.
It is called MEDITATION or MEDITATION BIOFEEDBACK. It is also known as neuro-feedback or brain entrainment. It can be as simple as listening to relaxing tones or music, specially created for training the brain to cycle through various frequencies that encourage the production of positive emotion and healing chemicals in the brain and body.

With guided meditation or positive affirmations, included with the tones or special beats, or even subliminal messages, it can quickly relieve anxiety and produce many health and mental benefits that could take months or years to learn with conventional meditation without brain entrainment.

A few of the many sought after benefits of brain entrainment and meditation include:

Reduced Anger,
Eliminate fear and phobias,
A deeper level of relaxation,
Eliminate unwanted habits & behaviors,
Stop anxiety attacks,
Lower blood pressure,
Reduce Hypertension,
Slow the aging process,
Decrease pain due to muscle tension such as headaches,
Help treat arthritis and other diseases,
Reduce allergy symptoms,
Enhance the immune system,
Rapid healing,
Reduction in the activity of viruses in the body,
