I wish hypnotizing myself was as easy as you say! I feel like you basically described meditation, which is a really awesome tool for relaxation and all around health, but is a far cry from self-hypnotization. Self-hyponotization is more closely related to lucid dreaming that meditation. All of the above can be used to gain better control of your mind and body, and help you become more in touch with your spirituality.
